NEW HOPE CHURCH, INC. is an independent, Biblically grounded, evangelical Christian Church based in Hazard, Perry County, Kentucky. Our mission is to fulfill the Gospel commission as set forth in the New Testament, to include (but not be limited to) the following:
- EVANGELISM: We shall work to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ and His remedy for Sin by means of corporate and individual evangelism; by print, air, and other media; by corporate meetings; by Christian camps and retreats; and by other means as may become available; with the goal of making converts to Christianity.
- CONGREGATIONAL CARE: Since a healthy and well-grounded congregation is necessary to carry out our mission, We shall work toward preparing the congregation, body, soul, and spirit, to do the work of the church. We shall provide classes, training sessions, and small group sessions as well as meeting, as our means permit, more tangible needs of our congregation.
- COMMUNITY CARE: Since compassionate care is a hallmark of Christianity, and also prepares the way to spread the gospel message, We shall work to meet community needs, as the Holy Spirit leads and as God provides resources. The specifics of community care may change with seasons and circumstances, but the foundation of Christian Love does not change.
- LOVE and COMPASSION: Love and Compassion for all persons was the basis of Jesus Christ’s ministry on the earth – the same Love and Compassion shall be the foundation of the Mission of New Hope Church, Inc.
